Complaints

We do the utmost to make your stay pleasant, but of course there is a possibility that you may not be content. If you do not contact the manager immediately, we cannot take responsibility for the possible issue relating to the complaint.

If the rented accommodation is left before the date of departure, no responsibility can be taken by the management. If the management has not solved the complaint to your satisfaction, you can write to Tamarisk Villages within 1 month of departure, where it will then be taken into consideration.

General reserve/Responsibility

Tamarisk Villages is not responsible for damage, theft, loss, injury or accident to the occupants of one of our houses or campsite, regardless of the cause. Damages to property need to be reported and paid for to the manager. It is advisable to have insurance in case of fire or other damage to the property.

Cancellation and Travel risk insurance

It is possible to arrange insurance for cancellation or travel direct by Tamarisk Villages. The costs will be specified on your account. Please contact us for further details and costs.

The French way

You will find that experiencing living amongst the nature in France is probably very different to your own way of life. Therefore we would like to draw your attention to the following. As Porte d’Espérance lies in the centre of a nature reserve, mice, flies, ants or other insects might trouble you. To prevent this from happening we advise you to keep food in sealed containers and ask you to put rubbish in the bins.

Safety

The river Cesse, which flows through the grounds of Porte d’Espérance, and the steep hills, can be dangerous for small children. Therefore we advise you not to leave them unattended (except for the terraces which have been fenced). The owner of the houses cannot be held responsible for accidents.
